A person that is after achieving anything in their life needs to be willing to stand out.
If you are not willing to stand out – to be outstanding – you will not achieve the results you are looking for.
The reason why is that once starting to work on something, one will automatically get better and better at it.
It does not matter what it is that you are doing, at some point you will be outstanding.
Most often its not difficult to achieve this state, as many are not doing more as necessary and are near to the average.
Most people do not want to stand out. When you are standing out it is a neutral position to be in. Neither positive or negative. Very comfortable.
However once you start moving and make progress, you will stand out. This is were the pendulum swings, you will have start having both positive and negative experiences as opposed to being in a neutral position. There will be people that encourage you to go further. There will be people that bring you down.
Accept the Fear and Proceed
Are you willing to stand out in some way? In case you want to achieve any success you need to be willing to.
Maybe currently your answer is “No, I am not willing to stand out.” That’s ok. We were all once there and it does not matter that much what you have been doing in the past or up to know.
Still, what you need to start doing is to have a positive vision for the future. A vision of being outstanding. Being outstanding is something positive, it means that you are committed and are taking action. You are applying what you learn and get results.
Its not easy to be willing to be outstanding and progress is never fast, but if you are investing the time reading this and are serious about developing yourself, developing your personality than you will get there.
The more you learn and apply, the more closely you get to be outstanding. However also your fear will grow and you might start to manipulate yourself, find excuses why you can not do what you were planning to do.
In this case one needs to ACCEPT the fear, which means LEARN to live with it. It’s the only way to move forward. The fear will not go away. It’s always there for everyone. So the best you can do is to make friends with it.
Once you face the fear, move forward and commit further….only then are you really willing to stand out.
